Sky High

One of my favorite trends at the moment is sneaker wedges. The topic of these shoes has always been a pretty polarizing one; you either love them or you hate them. I personally think they're amazing, and like almost any shoe- if they're styled right, they work. My absolute favorite designer Isabel Marant has a pair of signature sky-high sneakers called the "Beckett", and I've been dying to get my hands on some (specifically the black or tan colors)! These shoes are a fantastic mix of fashion-forward and comfy, and are a lot more unique than an old pair of chucks.

My set-making mindset is totally on school time, so all the outfits are meant for everyday classes! Despite this, I do think these wedges could be styled for a night out.. maybe with a blazer and high waisted jeans. So without further adieu, here are some ways I'd style wedge sneakers :) hope you get some inspiration! xx Flo

Leather Shorts
I love the look of these sneakers with tights and shorts! I got a pair of these shorts from Zara a few weeks ago and they're slowly becoming an unlikely winter staple.

Another one of Isabel Marant's amazing pieces is this oversized-pocket coat. I love how the menswear inspired sneakers and coat contrast with the feminine cut of the jeans and jumper!

Stripes / the Nautical look has always been one of my favorites. I love how effortless this striped tee Lar Garconne looks with an oversized parka and tan sneaker wedges.

Springtime
Sadly I won't be able to get away with an outfit like this for a few more months, but this is one of my favorite combinations at the moment!

  4. I have always liked sneaker wedges no matter what people say. Probably because I am not a big heel person and these are a cute way to sneak some height into my 4'11 figure. lol. I really like the 2nd outfit!
