My top 5 favorite items for summer!

Last summer when I first saw maxi skirts I wasn't a fan of them at all! I thought that they looked too covered-up and boring, and were too plain. Lately I have seen some amazing looks with them which changed my mind completely and I am obsessed. They come in so many different textures, from pleated to sheer to different styles like high waisted and hi-low. I can see myself wearing a thin white one to cover up at the beach or a sheer black one with wedges for a night out.

Roll neck tops have come back with a vengeance this summer and I love it! They are the same comfort level as a tank top but are 10 times more fashion forward. Pairing these with a plain skater skirt or patterned trousers would be an amazing look.

Boyfriend jeans, boyfriend jeans, boyfriend jeans. Like the maxi skirts I have really disliked boyfriend jeans until this year. They always seemed way too manly and unflattering to me, but after purchasing a pair from H&M my opinion has totally shifted! I love how they look contrasted with a feminine top and tennis shoes, or dressed up with a light coat and a graphic top. These jeans look especially good if you are tall, and they elongate your legs even more!

I have always been in love with everything denim, but this summer I'm especially loving denim dresses. In the summer light wash denim is a must-have, and these dresses use that in a very unexpected way. I think with a pair of wayfarers and a bootie these dresses would be a hit!

Last but definitely not least, dungarees! Ever since I saw these on Danielle Bernstein and Eleanor Calder I have been head over heels. They come in so many different styles from allover denim, to printed, to a more formal playsuit material. These would be perfect for a party to stand out from everyone in dresses.
